Four numbers people look up every day, all from published equations — no account, no upsell, no data collected. BMI with the WHO classification bands, the healthy weight range for your height, your basal metabolic rate and daily calorie needs from the Mifflin-St Jeor equation (the one dietetics associations recommend), and a body-fat estimate from the Deurenberg formula. Metric or imperial.

What these numbers are — and are not

BMI (weight ÷ height²) is a population-level screen, not a body-composition verdict: it overestimates fat in muscular athletes, underestimates it in the elderly, and the WHO notes that several Asian populations show metabolic risk starting near 23, below the global overweight line of 25 — the result panel marks that band explicitly. WHtR (waist ÷ height) is the better single predictor of cardiometabolic risk; keeping it under 0.5 is the practical rule of thumb. Mifflin-St Jeor gives resting energy needs (BMR); multiplied by an activity factor it estimates maintenance calories (TDEE) — real needs vary by a few percent between individuals, so treat any target as a starting point and adjust from results. The Deurenberg body-fat estimate is derived from BMI, age and sex at ±4–5 percentage points — if you want a number you can trust for medical decisions, get a DEXA scan, not a website.

None of this is medical advice. If a result concerns you, the useful next step is a doctor — not another calculator.
