❄️ Khatling Glacier

Khatling Glacier is a glacier located in the Tehri Garhwal district of Uttarakhand in India.The Khatling Glacier trek is one of the major high-altitude trekking routes in the Garhwal Himalaya. The traditional route begins from Ghuttu in Tehri Garhwal district and covers approximately 45 km to the glacier. The trail passes through the villages of Reeh, Gangi, and Kalyani, before reaching Bhomkugufa and the glacier terminus. Gangi is the last permanently inhabited village on the route, after which trekkers must be self-sufficient as no permanent facilities are available.
